This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Online Success With Josh ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit our pages or join our email list, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have.

2. What we collect

We keep the information we collect to a minimum.

Information you give us

First name and email address, when you sign up for a free resource (for example, The Affiliate Funnel Starter Checklist) or our email list.
Anything you choose to send us, for example if you reply to an email.

Information collected automatically

Sign-up details: the date and time you subscribed and confirmed, the form you used, and the IP address recorded at sign-up. We keep these as proof of your consent.
Email engagement: whether our emails were opened and which links were clicked. Our email provider records this with standard tracking pixels and link tracking.
Basic analytics: we may use basic analytics (for example, page-view and sign-up statistics provided by our email provider's landing pages, and campaign tags in our links such as "utm_source") to understand which content and channels are useful. This data is used in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Cookies: our landing pages may use essential cookies needed for the page and form to work. Where we use non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies) and the law requires your consent, we will ask for it first.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect payment details, government ID numbers, or sensitive information such as health, religious or political data.

You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7). Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

4. Confirmed opt-in

When you sign up, we send an email asking you to confirm your subscription. We only add you to our list after you confirm. We never add people to our list without their permission, and we never buy or rent email lists.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

AWeber Systems, Inc. (United States): our email marketing provider. AWeber stores your name, email address and sign-up and engagement data, and sends our emails. AWeber acts as our data processor under its data processing terms. AWeber's privacy policy is available on its website.
Analytics tools (if used): only aggregated or pseudonymous usage data.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Affiliate links: when you click an affiliate link in our emails or pages and visit a vendor or marketplace (for example, WarriorPlus), that third party collects its own data under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated reports such as clicks and sales, not your personal details. If you buy something, the vendor and marketplace handle your purchase and payment information, not us.

6. International transfers

We are based in Zimbabwe, and our email provider AWeber stores data in the United States. This means your information will be transferred to, and processed in, countries that may have different data protection laws from yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as our provider's data processing terms and contractual protections, and your consent, for these transfers.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or South Africa's POPIA), you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")
Withdraw consent at any time
Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing
Data portability: receive your data in a common format
Complain to a data protection authority. In Zimbabwe this is the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ); in the EU/UK, your local supervisory authority; in South Africa, the Information Regulator.

How to exercise your rights

Unsubscribe: click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email. It takes effect immediately in our email system.
Anything else: email [email protected] with your request, from the email address you subscribed with if possible. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and in any case within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your name and email for as long as you remain subscribed.
If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record (your email address and the date you unsubscribed) on a suppression list, so we don't email you again by mistake.
If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete it, except for any minimal record we are legally required to keep.
We periodically remove inactive subscribers from our list.

9. How we protect it

We use reputable service providers with industry-standard security measures, restrict access to our accounts, and use strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children

Our content is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and if the changes are significant, we will tell subscribers by email.
